S/O to the BEST Santas – my parents. I got a professional Ninja blender with all of the attachments! I had a $30 blender for the longest time, and it just didn’t cut it.
The Ninja is great and I highly recommend it (and I’ve only used it a few times!). I made hummus last night and a smoothie this morning, both turned out so silky smooth.
My smoothie this morning was awesome so I had to share:
- 1 mango
- 3 ice cubes
- Cranberry juice (plain ol’ no sugar added stuff)
- A bunch of cilantro
- Splash of orange juice
Throw it all in the blender and blend that ish up!

OkAy SO, cilantro. I know this is kind of a weird smoothie ingredient but it goes really well with the mango and this smoothie was actually delicious. I always have trouble using up my herbs before they go bad (even keeping them in a cup with water) so I decided to try them in new ways. Cilantro is nutrient and anti-oxidant dense. There are many health benefits to cilantro including cleansing, anti-inflammatory and digestive properties.
